Use of cookies
Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by the user send to the user’s device (usually to the
browser), where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same websites on the user’s next visit.
While browsing a website, the user may also receive on their device cookies sent by different websites or
web servers (so-called “third parties”), on which some elements present on the website being visited may reside (such as images, maps,
sounds, specific links to pages of other domains). The website
www.immobiliaremenaggio.com (hereinafter, the “Website”) uses cookies to make its services simple and efficient for
users viewing its pages. Users viewing the Website will have minimal amounts of information
placed on the devices they use, whether computers or mobile devices, in small text files called “cookies” saved in the
directories used by the user’s web browser. There are various types of cookies, some to make the use of the Website more effective, others
to enable certain functions. Analysed in detail, our cookies make it possible to:
- store the preferences entered by the visitor;
- avoid re-entering the same information several times during the visit, such as username and password;
Processing is carried out by the Data Controller with automated tools. With the exception of technical cookies, which are strictly
necessary for normal browsing, the provision of data is left to the discretion of the visitor who decides to browse the
Website after reading the short information notice (so-called banner) and to use the services that involve
the installation of cookies. The user can therefore avoid the installation of cookies, with the exception of technical cookies,
by refraining from taking any action on the banner or by using the specific functions available
in the various browsers, described in detail in this notice.
Types of cookies used by the Website
Technical cookies (mandatory)
This type of cookie allows the correct functioning of certain sections of the Website. They fall into two categories:
persistent and session:
- persistent: they are not deleted when the browser is closed but remain until a preset
expiry date; - session: they are deleted every time the browser is closed.
These cookies, always sent from our domain, are necessary to display the website correctly and, in relation to the
technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless the user changes the settings in
their browser (thereby affecting some functions or the display of the website’s pages).
Analytics cookies
Cookies in this category are used to collect information on the use of the website. The Website will use this
information for anonymous statistical analysis in order to improve the use of the Website and to make its content more
interesting and relevant to users’ wishes. This type of cookie collects anonymous data on user activity
and on how users arrived at the Website. Analytics cookies are sent by the Website itself or by third-party domains.
The Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). The information generated by the
cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address in anonymous form) will be transmitted to and stored on
Google’s servers. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling
reports on website activity for its operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet
usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process
the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by
Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that this
may prevent you from using certain features of this website. By using this
website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can
prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of this website (including your
IP address) and from processing such data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following web address:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Disabling analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 is configured so as not to store the user’s full IP address. On the first visit, a banner informs the user about the use of cookies; using the “Disable analytics” button in the banner, or at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page of the Website, the user can disable Google Analytics. This choice is kept for 6 months.
Third-party analytics cookies
These cookies are used to collect information on how users use the Website in anonymous form,
such as: pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, geographical origin, age, gender and
interests for marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent by third-party domains external to the Website.
This type of cookie integrates features developed by third parties within the pages of the Website, such as icons and
preferences expressed on social networks in order to share the website’s content, or for the use of third-party software
services (such as software for generating maps and other software offering additional services). These cookies are sent by
third-party domains and by partner websites that offer their features on the pages of the Website.
Pixel tags
This website may use “pixel tags”, i.e. small graphic files that make it possible to monitor the use
of the website. A pixel tag can collect information such as the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the
computer that downloaded the page on which the tag appears; the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the page on which
the pixel tag appears; the time the page containing the pixel tag was viewed; the type of browser that
retrieved the pixel tag and the identification number of any cookie on the computer previously
placed by that server. When corresponding with users by email messages that
support HTML format, “format sensing” technology may be used, which allows
pixel tags to let us know whether the recipient has received and opened the message.
Profiling cookies
These are cookies needed to create user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences
shown by the user within the pages of the Website.
Under current legislation, the Website is not required to ask for consent for technical and analytics cookies that do not
allow the user to be identified, as they are necessary to provide the requested services. For all other types of cookies,
consent may be given by the User in one or more of the following ways:
